Brooke Tresch graduated from Texas A&M University in May 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences. She chose to study nutrition because the whole world eats! The need for food is something that connects all human beings and brings people together socially and culturally. For the past two years, she has been working and volunteering in rural communities abroad. After completing her dietetic internship at Tri-County Health Department, she plans to take the RD exam and attain her license as a Registered Dietitian. With her credentials, she hopes to continue to combine her passion for food, health, and travel as she moves forward and grows in her career. Her hobbies include hiking, reading, traveling, and studying new languages. She has traveled to approximately 20 countries, primarily countries in Europe and Asia, and she is currently studying Spanish in order to increase her outreach capability as a Registered Dietitian.
